The hotel is splendidly located (though not central), with the lake at one end of the street, and a lively shopping street at the other. Some rooms have patios that overlook a beautiful garden with birds singing. A restaurant in the lower level is very good and quite expensive. Very helpful service. And very well run.

I have choosen this hotel for an over night stay due to business activities in Hamburg. It's a small and cosy familiar Hotel close to the City Center/main railway station and the Aussen Alster in Hamburg. Even tough the bathroom was a bit small the room was very clean and nicely done up. I have also enjoyed the quiet location with singing birds in the morning... The staff is also very friendly. The breakfast has been perfect - not too much not too less. All in all I am very positive and can recommend this Hotel to Business travellers as the Internet connection is also performant. In case of a future private stay in Hamburg I would also choose this one.

This is a small hotel with comfortable rooms. Stayed for one week and we really enjoyed it. The hotel is located in the central part within a stone's throw from the central square and Alster lakes. Very quiet street. Very good breakfasts, nice service.
