Really liked this place. Main building faces the water. There’s a courtyard in the back that faces onto a nice quiet street. Has parking for maybe ten cars, I think parking was €18 per night. Staff were nice. Place itself was charming and had good place-energy. Room was clean and nice. Also not very expensive. Next time we’re going to Hamburg I’m definitely going to see if this place is available.
This is a hotel where most things work, but dont look for anything extra. There is no AC and during a very warm couple of days we experienced the rooms incredibly hot and they didnt have a fan to help us out.
Location is really good, walking distance to everything and amazing restaurants in the street right behind. Parking is also really good.
Had a great spacious room on 2nd floor overlooking the Alster and with a medieval bed and extra couch for extra guests. Quiet and clean. Crhistmas chocolates outside the door as a little surprise on the 24th. Very good breakfast. Kind and helpful staff all around.

This hotel is in a beautiful setting next to the Alster. It is about 25 minutes walk from Hauptbanhof. You are a couple of minutes away from some great bars and restaurants, which are busy and really nice to visit.
The hotel staff are excellent: they are polite, knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming. They speak fluent English. I stayed on the ground floor. It wasn't loud and my sleep was not disturbed by the car park. The room was immaculately clean with good facilities: minibar, TV with loads of channels and a powerful, easy to use shower. There is plenty of room to work, if you need to. There are a couple of ways to walk into town and it is a very pretty walk.
I thought the hotel was good value and would be happy to stay here again because the local facilities are great, without the hurly-burly of the City Centre.

One night here in a single room (51) it was a lovely room, facilities were decent, the staff were very friendly and helpful taking my bag off me at 10.30am.
The only downside was the pillow, absolutely dreadful, how a human being can get a good sleep lying on those pillows is beyond me.
