Stayed at this hotel mid week during August.
Arrived before official check in time but not a problem as rooms where ready. Stayed on 5th floor at the back of hotel, so quite quiet. Room and bathroom cleaned to good standard. There is a Bath/shower soap dispenser but had taken my own having read a previous review about the quality. There was a mini fridge, although we didn’t use it and a mini bar - approx 4 euros for bottle of water. We bought water from the local Euro Store (think Pound Land equivalent) which was across the road.
Breakfast in the restaurant next to hotel, which is accessible from the hotel. Usual continental items on display - perfectly adequate to start the day, although there is a few coffee shops open early close by.
The restaurant is an Italian in the evening, but didn’t eat there in the evening.
Located approx 100meters from Check Point Charlie, so that is quite busy, with tourists and worth a visit to the Museum at Check Point Charlie as well, plenty to read and see.
The is a U-Bahn station outside the hotel and one at Check Point as well, easy to use and a day ticket is approx €7.
The location of hotel may not suit everyone who doesn’t want to walk or use public transport, but ideal for use as a base.
Would stay here again if in Berlin.
