The hotel isn't that bad. The rooms are very basic (bed, side table, large window with street view, small amount of storage space), bathrooms are also basic but towels are provided. There's also free wifi which is great.
The location of the hotel is excellent, for the price, it's great to be so close to the city centre, Brandenburg Gate, Tiergarten, etc. are all within 10 minute walking distance. There is also a small cafe in the hotel which is good if you want a coffee, fizzy drinks, snacks etc. up until 8pm each night. Useful to stock up as there isn't a mini fridge in the room.
Staff are a bit abrupt and look like they don't want to be there, but they are laid back and will let you come and go as you please. Level of English is quite poor (thankfully I speak German so it wasn't an issue).
In summary, the hotel is excellent if you are a young student / solo traveller who doesn't mind a very basic room for a couple of nights just to sleep in and relax in, without any frills attached. I really wouldn't recommend it for older travellers, couples or those who want anything special. It's only worth it for the low price and very central location. Would not recommend for a long stay.More
