We stayed there only for 1 night, but it was very pleasant. This little hotel has a great and quiet location, right in the old town, and the owner was very helpful and friendly.

The thing that I loved most in the room was the canopy bed. I just loved it! It brought such a wonderful and cozy feeling to the room. The furniture was antique and it needs a bit more maintenance, but this is the style of the hotel. The bathroom was very modern, but we had a problem with the sink - it clogged. And also the moisture from the bathroom was all over the room. But it was clean and we appreciate this.

The breakfast was one of the best we had in Germany - such a tasty food, especially the desserts. We loved it!

If you need a parking spot, you can leave your car inside the courtyard. There is free Wi-Fi, offered by the town of Rothenburg, but it doesn't work that well.

A very nice place and we recommend it.

Very comfortable and clean rooms. We stayed in a 4 person room on the 2nd floor. Large room with sitting area. Large, modern bathroom. Slept well on a good mattress and quiet location. A 10 minute walk from the train station and inside the city wall. Hotel allowed us to leave our bags after we checked out. Wonderful breakfast with many options. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Spoke English well. We highly recommend this hotel. One of the best we stayed in on our 2 week trip

We were five mature adults who spent three nights in this wonderful hotel. We stayed in the annex and we're pleased with our rooms. The rooms were spacious , very clean and good size by European standards. The breakfast was very good with fruit, cold cuts of meat, various breads , cereal, yogurt , pretzels , cooked eggs with mushrooms and bacon. The juices and coffees were also excellent. What makes this hotel special is its location in the old city and our host Walter. Rothenburg is a beautiful city . our hotel was a block from the center of the old town and within a 10-15 minute walk from the train station. We were within a couple minutes of the entry to the city walls. Walter gave us excellent advice on where to eat and suggested a side city to visit which was very interesting. We missed the train and were unable to make our first nights reservation. Without our requesting , Walter deducted the cost of the breakfast from our bill. Our group felt that all the hotels and b&b's we stayed in this was our favorite. We also took the English night watch men's tour and loved it. Finally the price was very reasonable for all we received. Do not miss this hotel if you come to Rothenburg ob tauber.

We made a last minute decision to visit/stay in Rothenburg and wanted to stay inside the wall and close to the town center. Based upon other reviews we inquired about a room at the Hotel Garni Kreuzerhof. Within minutes we had a response with a very reasonable price. The next day we headed to Rothenburg. The host, Walter, greeted us when we arrived and helped park our car in his adjacent courtyard. We had a great day in the town and the room was fantastic...antique feel with modern comforts. Breakfast buffet was excellent the friendly hosts made the stay perfect.

This quiet hotel provided a beautiful room, breakfast and parking (small fee) inside the town. It may not be in a 300 year old building but it is still a very quaint place to stay. The location is just a couple blocks off the busy streets so it had easy access to all the sights, but even durning the day it was quiet. We stayed in one of the brand new rooms they are adding, which was very comfortable for the two of us. Breakfast was better than most of these small hotels with a better selection and great quality items. Had to leave early the last day and they let us prepare breakfast to take with us to accommodate our schedule. There is a small garden and they make their own jams from their own fruit trees. These are a must try at breakfast, also for purchase if you like. Finally, they do have laundry facilities for those on long trips.
