In a reconstructed historic building, this spacious beer restaurant sits over Pegniz River under the floors of a senior care center. This site maybe the most iconic of all Nuremberg townscape. The service was quick and nice by a few gentlemen looking like knights of Tutonic Order. A great item we found in the menu was "fried Camembert," which is similar to "sýr smažený" we enjoyed in many Czech towns.

I enjoy this place at least once a year! Wonderful place in the heart of the city with traditional german cuisine and nice draught beers. Nurnberger sausages with crauts are awesome! Better to book i fair advance during the weekends!

Scenic location and close by other tourist spots. The building is lovely and fit my image of what Bavarian architecture should be.

Rebuilt after WWII with the added tower window, this building attests to the duration of time. Originally, built in the 1330's as the Holy Spirit Hospital which provided care for the needy and poor. Today it serves as a senior citizen residence. You can't miss it while walking over the Museumbrucke towards the Hauptmarkt. Definitely worth a picture with or without a selfie.

As part of my marathon visit of Nuremberg I stopped by here and snapped a few photos, I'm not sure what else you can do, but I'd recommend grabbing a bite in the market and soaking up this site with your significant other.
