Hofbraustueberl was a very pleasant surprise. We literally found it be accident and had a wonderful meal, with a very pleasant, helpful waiter (Zeljko) He spoke good English and pointed out the best selections. One selection of merit was a fish known as Zander. While identified as pike, perch-pike, it is a VERY close relative of walleye (same genus)
and tastes like walleye. I recommend it. Service was very fast, with four different meals
(different cooking methods) arrived at the same time. Beer was to die for. Von fass means"on tap". Cost for beer was approx 5 Euros for .5L. Wine was a little more. Total for the four of us was 80-85 Euros (beers add up)
Would I eat there again? Yes, in a heart beat. Would I recommend it to friends? YES.
