Description: Dear Guest,We are very happy to greet you here in our lovely home.Whether for lunch or afternoon coffee and cake , we wish you a relaxing visit as you enjoy our spectacular mountain views. Everything we have to offer is prepared using only the freshest of meats and vegetables. Our pastries and cakes are home made and prepared with locally harvested eggs and the finest ingredients. Even our "Windbeutel", for which we are famous, are baked fresh daily and prepared in a variety of ways. The recipe for this house specialty has been a well kept secret for over 40 years. The Windbeutel was originally created by a pastry chef from Berlin, who frequently vacationed here in our home. We hope you enjoy your time here with us and thank you for your visit. We are open 10 am to 6 pm every day, but Wednesday. Unfortunately, we don't offer dinner, but we would be glad to serve you lunch (from 11 am to 4 pm).Our restaurant is easy to find. Just follow the road signs up the hill to "Kehlstein" and exit the roundabout on the road that leads further up the hill. After another 3 minutes of driving, you'll see our sign, which says "Gasthaus Graflhöhe", on your right. We are happy, if you are.As the guests are the center of our acting, we and our staff are hosts for who kindliness and cordiality are top priority.

We have been going to this beautiful eating house for 5 years. We drive from England, and so look forward to seeing everyone.
The house has updated one of its rooms..........it was "wow".....a cow was looking down at me from the skylight and an eagle sailed above my head.
Our meals were absolutely delicious.....i had fish ( cooked to perfection), my husband had a pork toast, again delicious.
An extensive wine menu, what more could we want, with the views to the Watzmann mountains...... ( mmm..stay much longer !!!).
Well done to the team.....thankyou Christine and Hansi. You have a very special place in our hearts.

OMG!OMG! It was a bomb of calories but I had to have it! We all had one each and savored every bite! The place is gorgeous with breathtaking view. It snowed the day before so, you can imagine the spectacular view. Food besides the puff were great too. So great we went thee again for lunch the next day! Staff were genuinely nice and if we ever in Salzburg again,we'd definitely drive up for another visit.

This is a charming restaurant, with nice Alpine views of Berchtesgaden. The fare is typical German and Austrian cuisine, but the place is famous for its dessert, known as the Windbeutel, which translates more or less to cream puff, and a giant one at that! If you are visiting the Eagle's Nest, this is a reasonably nearby place to have lunch, before or after.

We had a lovely walk to the cafe from the cable car. Wonderful views from the terrace. We had the speciality cake which was delicious. The restaurant was exceptionally clean and the staff friendly.

We saw a flyer for this place and decided to try it out as I had not has Windbeutel before. They offer this cake in many varieties and we had the one with cream and sour cherries, sharing it. It was big enough for two, was nicely presented and tasted goo. The service was also swift and courteous. While enjoying our cake and something to drink, we also took in the breathtaking mountain views! Fantastic. The view is worth a visit alone and I'd recommend to go here when in Berchtesgaden.
