A short walk from the railway station and slap bang in the middle of town too.
Check in was easy and Allison the receptionist even remembered me from an email exchange so it all felt very personal.
Room was fine and everything was clean and working. The wifi was a little tempermental though. We had breakfast on morning one and as we were late (Mrs Baps overslept again) some of the choices were limited. There's a hot buffet with scrambled eggs and sausages, plus an egg boiler so you can do your own. There's also the usual cheeses/meats etc. All in all OK.
We left early and the night porter had the bill ready for us and and even taken the trouble to learn our names.
All in all a great stay in a fine town and the location was perfect. Right in the middle of the shopping area with a short walk to the harbourside for bars and most importantly close to the rugby stadium too.More
