The hotel Little Palace in a small (and old) hotel in the middle of Toulon. Its no frills approach is perfectly in keeping with its surroundings and the style of buildings within its location.

Most standard facilities expected these days are not available (bar, lift, dinning area), but it doesn't pretend to be anything that it isn't. The staff are welcoming and happy to help any traveller.

It suited my needs, and at the lower end of the budget spectrum I had no complaints for the service provided.

Room Tip: Road noise is minimal given the location. No preference to offer.

The hotel is excellent value, it's clean and comfortable. Centrally located, only a short walk to the Marina which provides plenty of restaurants and a lovely setting.

The hotel isn't very modern although the bathroom is very clean and nicely tiled. There is a small flat screen tv and comfortable bed.

The only observation I would give is there isn't a lift (this is probably owing to the age of the building), it could be difficult for customers of a certain age and with lots of bags to climb the stairs.

Overall very positive stay.

This hotel has the same prices the whole year, no difference between the seasons. We had one of the smaller rooms, the only one available that night. it was pretty small indeed. Good for one night or maybe two. Clean. Very friendly lady at the reception. Breakfast not included, we did not pay for it but had a cafe/croissant in a bar which is cheaper. Very well located, in the old center so you can walk everywhere, also to the marina where all the restaurants are.

This is a place to go if you want a clean room can't go wrong here. Reason didn't give a better grade is because you'll get just that. You won't get a premium room or original decor. The rooms are plain and a little bit dated.
You will however be right in the heart of the town and right near the train.

We found the place & staff absolutely charming & very good value for an overnight stay. The location is very central, right near the market, port, old town & opera. Plenty of good cafes and shops right by it. The only drawback is the lack of lift - but to be in an authentic old building in the old town that is pretty much unavoidable.
