We stayed here for one night travelling from Carcassonne to Apt. While the hotel bedroom was large, the decor was a little dated and drab. Breakfast was typical, with space in the breakfast room very limited. We had a frosty first impression - the manager had sent us a mail confirming security gate code which we hadn't seen. . ."you didn't read my mail?" were our welcoming words. Hotel location was pretty good; just not convinced about value for money or ambiance...

Room tip: We had a room overlooking the garden and pool which was nice

My wife and I stayed here for three nights as we toured through Provence with a rental car. We were not disappointed. This was an excellent small hotel with a wonderful setting just outside St. Remy. The room was cute, clean, comfortable and the entire hotel very quiet due to the location. They offered a good (not great) buffet breakfast that you could eat either inside or outside in the lovely courtyard area near the pool. The staff was friendly and helpful, and spoke substantial english. The mini-bar was well stocked, and we enjoyed a bottle of wine in the courtyard after a long day of touring. The pleasant walk into town took about 10-12 minutes. Please keep in mind there is no elevator if your room is above the ground floor. I would highly recommend this hotel.. We were not disappointed!

Room tip: Rooms overlooking the courtyard are very nice.

A small homely boutique hotel with easy access for St Remy restaurants and daily sightseeing. Staff are helpful and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable with plenty of space for luggage etc separate to sleeping area. Tranquil relaxing garden setting for breakfast and late afternoon drinks was an added bonus, Free onsite parking

We only stayed in Canto Cigalo for one night at the end of our visit to South of France. The hotel was really great - basic room but had everything you needed. The breakfast in the morning was really tasty and had plenty of pastries on offer - perfect for me!

We managed to no doubt annoy the staff by turning up late, calling them out to fix the safe and nearly missing breakfast... but they were still super helpful and friendly!
Great stay.

We have stayed here a couple of times over the years. This main disadvantage of this hotel is it location being a 20-30 minute walk from the main town along quite a narrow road to reach the vast array of restaurants in the main town. On the plus side it situation in a large, calm and peaceful garden offers a tranquil stay. Rooms are simply furnished and are air conditioned and comfortable. Breakfast is served in the garden in good weather and offers the usual standard of French buffet. There is a a reasonably sized our door pool area. Staff and welcoming and friend. A place definitely to return too.
