A warm welcome, helpful owners, Air conditioning, the shops and restaurants within a 3 minute walk but very quiet at night...what more do you want?

Highly recommended.

“La vie en rosé”

Everything that has been written is perfectly true! We've only been home for a day and we're already planning our next stay there.
Joan and John are marvellous hosts and Mr Ronnie is absolutely delightful.
Their main goal is to ensure that you have a brilliant time and they well and truly suceed.
They welcomed us into their lovely home as friends and we were very sorry to leave.
Life doesn't get much better than sharing rosé and nibbles on their beautiful terrace overlooking the gulf of St. Tropez! Take in a dip in the wonderful pool which feels as though you are swimming in fine light pink rosé.
Excellent facilities, only a short stroll to the centre and their knowledge of the local area is second to none.
Thank you again for a wondeful stay- next time, we'll stay for longer!

“Fantastic Find”

Joan And John gave us the warmest welcome at L'Escalinade. We were greeted with a glass of wine and nibbles in the garden. The rooms were fresh and clean with perfect views over St Maxime. The property is a couple of minutes from the shops and restaurants yet has a very peaceful location.
I would recommend this lovely Bed and Breakfast without hesitation.

“Great location, warm hospitality in this B&B”

All the reviews were confirmed: Joan and John are wonderful hosts, offering hospitality and discretion. The rooms are comfortable and clean, A/C functions as needed. The property is lovely, pool a welcome refreshment. Not only is the view of the bay a daily delight, but, despite being only a few minutes from the town center, restaurants and the beaches, it remains a quiet and serene haven. A great place from which to tour the area.

“A home from home but with much better views!”

We have just got back from a wonderful trip to staying for a week in L'Escalinade - wonderful!
Joan and John (and Ronnie!) are wonderful hosts and the location in excellent. Central to Ste Maxime but when you are there you feel completely out of the hustle and bustle. They make you instantly welcome and cannot do enough to help you. They have extensive knowledge of the area and are brilliant at giving you tips for places to go and how to get there. Wonderful gardens and pool to laze around and everywhere you look that view!!! You overlook the bay across to St Tropez (which is an easy hop on the boat) with all of Ste Maxime below you. All of the sights of this coastline are within easy reach.
The waistline has suffered as a result of the good food both with our breakfasts at L'Escalinade and the many restautant options available in Ste Maxime and beyond.
Highly recommended if you want a trip to the South of France but with a personal touch.
