The reception and foyer sitting areas of this hotel are very attractive but the carpets on corridors to rooms are stained and very unwelcoming - a stark contrast. Our room, looking on to Rue de France, was dull during daytime but switching on the table lamps soon made it more pleasant and the room was very comfortable for our 4 night stay. Plenty wardrobe hanging and shelves. A very useful bench across one wall proved a perfect place for easy access to cases.
Great breakfast with plenty hot and cold choice. Nespresso machine with 6 coffees. As a Marriott rewards member we had complimentary wifi in the room. Room card is required to operate lift. We arrived to a complimentary half bottle champagne for our anniversary and 2 small bottles of Evian water were supplied every day - very useful. Large open shower in a contemporary shower room but marred by unfortunate water stains on various walls. This, with the dirty hall carpets, made me question the £194/night room cost.
There's a roof top pool and sunbed area with a very attractive bar and a great view down to the beach. We made use of the secure parking under the hotel - too convenient to bother looking for public parking. Cost €20 per day but didn't mind paying this. Spaces always available.
This was our first time in Nice and if visiting again I would stay nearer the old town as the walk to the busy part of the city was about 15mins. The old town was beyond this and we didn't spend as much time there due to its distance from hotel. If walking home at night, use the promenade rather than the back streets - they felt a bit dreary in contrast. There's also a useful Lidl a few streets behind the hotel for snacks if you don't fancy the contents of the vending machine in the foyer.

This hotel s located off of the main road--Promenade des Anglaises. It was a comfortable hotel that was well equipped. The beds were alright. We ate at the restaurant located on the roof of the hotel. The food and wine were very good. As we were only there for one night, I did not have occasion to avail myself of the offerings of the hotel.

I stayed two days in Nice at this hotel after flying into Nice before touring around the French Riviera. The AC Hotel has an excellent location. It is fairly new, the rooms are clean, fresh. Excellent WiFi service which is free for Marriott Rewards members at a certain level. I think the AC hotels are geared to a younger metro crowd. glass door to bathroom, small room with small closet, but it met our needs. The doorman and staff were all nice, all spoke English very well. One bonus, is that we used Uber to go everywhere in Nice and it was very convenient.

This is a standard hotel. It is clean comfortable and the soap comes in little balls! I like that. Rooms are functional and a bit dark but what makes the place is the rooftop pool. Worth it for that alone. Had lunch up there which was nice. That's the selling point !

We spent a week-end in this hotel and, despite booking the room only a few days before our trip, we did not believe it was overpriced. We chose a Junior suite for my two kids, my wife and myself and slept very comfortably. Breakfast was absolutely great! The rooftop pool was a good token, and the views from there were just breathtaking. The staff was very friendly. They managed to book two sunbeds at the beach even though their usual place was fully booked. Moreover, our return flight was very late in the evening and we were allowed to keep the towels for the entire day and stay at the pool until 20:00. To top it up, we learned when we were there that this hotel was chosen by the Spanish national football team in the recent Euro 2016. What else can you ask for?
Very recommended.
