Very friendly hosts. Rooms are large and well equipped. Quiet area despite being in a very central location. Nice breakfast. A bit pricey, but otherwise really recommended. We found it in the Guide Rivages “maisons d’hôte de charmes”

Such a special place for a bed & breakfast. We stayed for 4 nights in beautiful stylish rooms, with big balconies facing south toward the city, and had a lovely time with excellent on the terrace in the morning.
Also a very sweet and helpful couple, that even made sure we could borrow towels and a beach basket during our stay for when going to the beach, which is quite close by.
Super relaxed and a good location in Menton.
High reccomandations!

Everything was great: the location (quiet but close to the center), the room (comfortable and decorated with taste), the view from the balcony, the delicious breakfast, and more than everything the hosts who were so nice and helpful. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in a lovely quiet place in Menton.

Room tip: ask for one of the rooms on the top floor on the garden. They all have a balcony and you can see the see above the red roofs

We have just returned from a 10 night stay at the Villa, and couldn't have asked for more hospitable and friendly hosts. Clive and Forence (and Minon!) are very welcoming and knowledgeable, and are more than happy to provide maps and recommendations for Menton and the surrounding area. On their advice, we travelled to Eze by bus which was a lovely little medieval village nearby. They have two engaging Dachshunds, Guinness and Ginger and occasionally Fifi who love to follow anyone around who may have some toast or croissant in their hand! Breakfasts were lovely, fab fruit salads everyday, and the most delicious fresh bread and orange juice. My husband had scrambled eggs every day as well.

We stayed in the suite which has 3 large windows out on to the veranda where you can sit at night and watch the sun going down over the town. The room is a pleasing mix of rustic French and modern touches (the bathroom is huge) and we barely noticed the noise from the trains or traffic (there is a very busy road beside the house). Train station is 5 mins walk and we used it almost every day to get around. We deliberately didn't hire a car as the traffic and parking is crazy but each to their own. The trains and buses are frequent and cheap and will get you to most places very easily.

Recommend visiting Villefranche, Nice, Monaco, Eze, La Turbie and the market at Ventimiglia on a Friday which is great fun and only 1 stop on the train.

All in all we had a lovely time in Menton and staying with the family and can recommend it as a future location for anyone wishing to use it as a base to explore the Cote D'Azur.

Room tip: No lift, so if stairs are a problem, might want to factor this in.

Extremely relaxing B & B with charming and amenable hosts. Our room had a private balcony with a beautiful view and comfortable loungers. The bedroom, bathroom and balcony were well equipped, comfortable and stylish. We even had electronic awnings over the balcony. Delicious breakfast. Easy parking.

Room tip: All rooms are good
