We have been at the Provencal hotel at beginning of September for our "mini-moon" and we couldn't be happier of the choice.
The French coastal village where the hotel is located is simply stunning, my "stereotype" of French village, calm and charming during the evening and full of activities during the day, with incredible views of two sides of the coast near Hyeres and 10 minutes away from the ferry to Porquerolles.
The hotel is on a privileged location, on the top of the hill with open views of the islands in front and a private beach for guests just 2 minutes walk from the hotel "excavated in the rocks". 2 restaurants inside the hotel, one more formal and one informal, and 2 more at the beach, so you are well covered :) very good traditional French food
The hotel and restaurants are run by the family, I think it is the third generation now, and the touch is incredibly nice - they helped us with everything, from renting a boat, finding shops to where best to park our car. Young, hard working and smiling crew, always a good thing!
One additional point to mention as we were favourably surprised, in the premises they speak good Italian, Spanish, English, German and obviously French.
