Friends and I didn't want a heavy lunch and we liked the idea of seafood. We didn't expect too much for the fixed price menu of 17 Euros but we were pleasantly surprised. The filets de rouget (red mullet) was cooked to perfection, as were the vegetables which accompanied the fish. Portion size was just right.
Although there was a choice of main course, the dessert was simply a mini tiramusu and a small creme brulee - both excellent though. Coffee was included and I have to say it was great value. Service was good.

We had a pleasant experience dining here. There was a good variety of seafood but also other options. Most chose a seafood selection and were happy with it. I had the foie gras with fruits and it was delicious with a nice range of flavours. The service was friendly. We booked just an hour before opening time for dinner and glad we did as most tables seemed to have reserved signs on them. The outdoor eating area is pleasant. A good option, especially if you are after seafood.

Again, back in Antibes, we enjoyed a wonderful ‘Royale’ fruits de mer. A busy place with a fine terrace, it must be great to dine here in the winter given the pleasant interior. Hard working family style service, sometimes one has to wait for what is in store, but worth it. Reasonably priced and with an extensive menu. Pity that there is nothing on offer for vegetarians or vegans so if you have them in your company they will not be pleased, although we know from a previous visit that the chef is prepared to improvise for such guests.

We had lunch here and while the seafood we had was really nice(whole crab fishsoup and stuffed mussels)
the service was one of the worst.

They served the crab with home made mayonaise, and when I asked for aioli I got told by the most argogant lady in the whole cote the azur they did had aioli but it was served with a different dish so I could not have it.

After we orderd my girlfriend walked inside and asked if we could have fries with our meal the same lady said no the deep fryers are off but 15min later the table next to us got fries with there meal. This with the very bad and cranky attitude of the lade who served us made this for a very bad restaurant if you value good service.

Conclusion food was great but service so bad that we probably won't come back.

Good for fresh shellfish, otherwise menu limited. Wine list average selection but expensive. Table service very slow but friendly. Street seating available, chairs not comfortable, however interior small but cosy and comfortable. Not a cheap eat but enjoyable. Reservation is "hit & miss", more "first come first served"!
