A hidden treasure of an old hotel in an unbelievably amazing location - the historic quarters of Arles, France. This is a family owned hotel, operated by a father and daughter duo, with the friendliest of staff. The rooms are large but old and quaintly query. The timber floors are very sloped and uneven and the bathrooms don't provide much - but that's exactly what we loved about this old place. It is soo full of history, you can feel it all around you. Thank you for the experience, Hotel du Forum - we will remember our short stay with you for many years. Arles was definitely one of the highlights of our recent French holiday.

This hotel has character charm and a special flair which is truly unique. The rooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable, the building itself has a lot of character and the people working there are very friendly. The location, of course, makes the plave even more special, right on the Place du Forum opposite the Cafe de Nuit made famous in the painting by VIncent van Gogh. My family and I had a lovely time and will definitely be coming back!

The Hotel du Forum is located in the heart of Arles on the lively Place du Forum facing the famous Cafe la Nuit of Van Gogh. This hotel has been owed and operated by the Oggier family since 1921. The spotless rooms are all individually decorated and the hotel has many antiques that grace the rooms and the public areas of the hotel. This hotel has been featured in many films and has received numerous famous guests over the years including Picasso, Noiret, Lanvin and Umberto Ecco.

The striking facade of the Hotel dates from 1850 and some parts this delightful hotel date from the Renaissance. But this hotel is not mired in the past but has adopted to modern requirements. All rooms have free WIFI, flat-screen televisions and air conditioning. There is an elevator and the hotel has a small swimming pool located in a charming enclosed garden that is a peaceful, calm haven. The hotel has a dining room where you can enjoy a generous breakfast buffet. There is also a pleasant bar that has a billiard table.

The staff are invariably helpful and friendly and most of them speak good English. This is a hotel that has character and comfort that is conveniently located near the major sites of interest in Arles. The staff can provide you with excellent advice on restaurants and will make reservations for you. I think you would be hard pressed for a more pleasant place to stay in Arles than the Hotel du Forum.

We loved Arles and the staff at the Hotel Du Forum really enhanced our experience. They helped with reservations for great local restaurants and finding little gems for activities.
The plaza where the hotel is located is very lively and fun and felt very safe.
The room was great, large, and very comfortable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here; we hadn't booked in advance, having driven to Arles on a whim. On our arrival, the staff were very friendly and we were shown three rooms of which we were able to choose the one we wanted. The room was beautifully decorated, with a lovely view into the garden!
