Booked a one bedroom apartment to give us more space. We chose this property due to its close proximity to Cours Mirabeau, the Saturday markets, and many of Aix's main sights. The apartments are comfortable but fairly basic, but suited our needs and requirements. Bed was firm but comfortable and the small bathroom had good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Shower over bath was fine. The kitchen had a dishwasher, two burner stove and clean plates, pans and cutlery. A laundry within the complex was also very handy. Parking is available on site for a fee. We found the young men on the reception desk to be extremely friendly and helpful. We would stay here again, mainly due to its excellent location.

Room Tip: Go for one bedroom apartments for more space.

This hotel is not luxurious but is very good value for the price. Located close to the old city but also has a lovely breakfast which is the best I've had in France where all are basic. Also has its own public laundromat which is great for the ongoing traveler.

Not a huge space for four people, however tidy, breakfast ordinary and breakfast staff a bit miserable. Rest of staff very helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean a little cramped, however great location.

This apartment hotel was "not as advertised"! The room was on the 5th floor and had nothing in it but a bed and two kitchen style chairs and small table. Nothing comfortable to sit on! The WiFi did not work at all except on the reception level and that was only working some of the time. The kitchen area had no placeware, coffee pot, soap, towel or dishware except for a broken cup and one plate. Room was very clean. The outside area was dismal - not a very good neighborhood. Not one cafe or restaurant nearby. Hotel restaurant's food was well below standard for a French city and the breakfast buffet was just "ok". I would never recommend ths hotel to anyone visiting Lourdes.

This hotel is well situated for the Cours Mirabeu. That's where the good stuff ends. The room we were allocated was small and faced into a courtyard. Pigeons were nesting on the window ledge but we had to sleep with the window open as the air condition made a lot of noise, but didn't actually dispense cool air. Our bed was poor quality and very low. This led to 7 uncomfortable nights. A light blew in the lavatory as soon as we arrived. The biggest problem, though was the bathroom. The shower was over a bath and the glass screen had no seal so that however careful we were, after two showers the floor was flooded. A sign on the wall invited us to place used towels in the bath, so we used them to soak up the water on the floor. When we returned to our room that evening the towels were still in the bath. I informed reception and was told that we were expected to use the same towels for a week. They promised to fix the shower, but never did. We managed to get a second set of towels, but by day 7 the bathroom was awash.
The small utility area contained a refrigerator with 2 settings - off and freeze. I had cold beer but my wife's olives were frozen solid and her yoghurt like concrete.
How can this be a three star hotel?

Room Tip: Go elsewhere.
