We love coming here - this cozy, well-hadden litlle restaurant is definetely in our top 3 of placets to eat in Angers.

You need to be either lucky that someone cancelled their table or book well in advance to eat here. And the propositions of the chef are divine!

We had the opportunity to talk a bit with this nice couple (he’s the chef, she rules the restaurant and welcomes their guests) when leaving, and they really have the right mindset, are very humble and speak with passion & pride about their place.

Great dishes, excellent wine suggestions, cozy,...highly recommended!

We were excited to try the restaurant from reviews online. It has great decor and nice ambience. However, the food and service were disappointing. The starter we had was mackerel with beetroot with pickled vegetables. The beetroot was a mousse which had split due to the acidity of the vegetables, which left a nasty texture to the mousse. On the main course the pork was over cooked and dry. There were also so many ingredients on the main that the dish was confused. We chose to skip dessert based on the experience of the first two courses. The Chef has great local produce but needs to learn less is more using ingredients as this leads to confusion of flavours. I think the chef is aiming to be a Michelin restaurant but has a long way to go.

We came there to celebrate wedding anniversary. We arrived there at 7:30, all other people had been arriving after us and got their first meal, but not us. We finally got water and wine only at 8:30, and only when I asked waitress to come to us. We ask her when will we be serving? She answered to us in a b&tchy way : you came to restaurant, means you were ready to wait! I was ready just to stand up and leave that place because of her attitude! We got our starter plates at 9, it's 1,5 hours of waiting! Food was just average, nothing special. I don't advise that restaurant to anyone!

Called in for my evening meal, a simple but appealing menu, not much to think about just good basic choices. A very nice glass of local red made this great value, the waitress had some English so bridging the gap from my limited French. What's not to like about this place?

Casa Corneille was recommended to us by our Chambre d'hote hosts. We were very fortunate to manage an on the day booking for four . The chef and waitress ran a smooth full evening of covers as calmly and professionally as could be possible.
We enjoyed a super creamy pumpkin soup with beef and popcorn as an amuse bouche and the tone was set. The
mackerel entree with couscous in a filo pastry cone was delicious and my husband's Pain Perdue much enjoyed .
The pork main courses were both on the rare side one more so than the other though the accompaniments perfect.
It was a lovely evening a warm buzz in the room adding to the ambience.
