Pleasant hotel with rather dull rooms. Restaurant rather expensive and our fish and chip dish was spoilt by very poor cooking of the fish. A shame since previously we have had some pleasant meals at this hotel. Cost cutting?

The room was a good size, the only drawback was relatively poor air-conditioning. Otherwise all was good. The location was excellent. I would recommend either this hotel, or its Ibis neighbour, as an excellent location with good staff and a well maintained set of facilities.

We had four nights here on a Riviera tour. Our room was spacious, clean & comfortable & also very quiet. It was good to have complimentary bottled water too.
The breakfast buffet had a good choice & was promptly replenished. We had a snack lunch on one day-club sandwiches with salad, which were tasty & of ample portions. We may have tried the dinner menu had our French been adequate to decipher it. If they regularly have British tour groups, would a little clue in English be too much to hope for? Many of the restaurants in town can manage it, & even in Paris!
However there are plenty of eating places within a 10 minute walk.

We visited with a group on a weekend tour staying two nights.
The hotel was very nice, the room was large and the bed very comfortable. Tea and coffee were available in the room with paper cups which were a bit inadequate in size.
The room overlooked the fountain and the views were very nice. Hotel reception staff were very helpful and polite despite our lack of understanding the language. We did however have to re register the room cards on both days as they failed to work. The food was good quality but like most restaurants in France had very little choice for vegetarians and the special offer menu had no vegetarian choice at all so was unavailable to us. The older waiter with greying hair and slightly balding on top was arrogant. It was obvious he took exception to the fact we didn't speak French so the menus were snatched away, no smiles or niceties and no interest in the lack of choice. The food was served by one of the two young waiters who were exceptionally cheerful and helpful and this made all the difference. The food was very tasty. A couple of friends ate earlier in the restaurant and on discussing their experience at breakfast the next morning it was obvious the same waiter had displayed the same attitude to them. We decided not to use the restaurant on our second night.
Breakfast was very wide choice and good quality. A very nice hotel and despite our experience with the one waiter we would stay again.

On a five day package holiday visit around France and the war memorials etc.

Stayed two nights here and would highly recommend it. The hotel is placed next to the river Seine on the edge of town, only about a 15/20min walk from the town centre. The rooms are good, nice and clean. The staff are so helpful and friendly and the food is excellent.
