I booked this hotel as a surprise birthday weekend for my partner, as its only 2.5hr drive from Paris. We arrived at around 9pm on a Friday evening. At that time the reception is closed, but they already sent me the codes in advance to enter the building and explained easily how to access the room key from the safety deposit box. If you arrive late, let them know before hand so they can do the same, as I think they close at 6pm.

I chose this hotel because of its facilities : spa, outdoor heated swimming pool, for a September swim the water was pretty fresh to wake up to! But then you have the hot sauna and steam bath to relax in.

The hotel is a short 15min walk from the centre, along a busy road. Once you arrive in the centre there are plenty restaurants around the little port and narrow streets to browse the shops.

Breakfast was not included, and was the standard intercontinental. If you are a late sleeper and dont usually eat much for breakfast I wouldn't recommend getting it as our room had a kitchenette. Just make sure you bring your own coffee.

Other than that I have no complaints about the hotel itself. We had a great weekend in Honfleur. The hotel was fine. Free parking. Not far from the centre. Bed was comfy. Good spa facilities. They offer late checkouts until 12h00.

This was a very mixed visit. It started badly when because of Channel Tunnel problems we arrived at 6.30 on Sunday evening. The reception had closed and there were no members of staff around. We phoned the emergency number shown on the door and were prompted to a wall safe where ,given the code,we were able to access our room. The room was small but, apart from the lack of drinks making equipment, was adequate. The cleaning regime needs sorting, the bathroom was not cleaned on any of the three days. The breakfasts, included in the price, were reasonable and the staff friendly.
Would we stay there again? Yes..the price was right, plenty of car parking and it was a very easy walk along the estuary into Honfleur.

Room tip: Try any room on the front above ground level

TL;DR version:

Room nice, but too hot at night. Staff friendly, but reception only open 9am-6pm. Breakfast was good but pricey. Location isn't the best but manageable with a short walk.

The room (a Comfort Double) was clean and nicely furnished but lacking in aircon which made it very hot at night.

The staff were very friendly, and the reception staff spoke good English. However the reception is only open between 9am and 6pm on weekdays. If you arrive after 6pm you're going to be out of luck! Also if you want to leave early you have to hope one of the breakfast staff can help (which luckily for us they were able to).

The breakfast had a good selection on offer but was a little on the pricey side.

Although the hotel is walking distance from the town centre you have to cross over the main road outside the hotel (as there are no paths on that side of the road) and walk for 10-15 minutes but it's pleasant enough on a warm evening.

Didn't get a chance to try the pool, but it also looked clean and well maintained. Also didn't get to try the spa facilities.

Room tip: Get one of the bigger rooms / apartments on the 3rd floor.

I booked this hotel as it looked really great on the pictures and seemed to be within walking distance of the centre of Honfleur. The carpark is very large so no problem parking, and the reception area smells lovely. Staff were a little inexperienced and made us wait 45 mins to get to our room. The room was on the third floor and not as nice as expected. The sofa was quite worn, cushions dirty, floor stained and small sink had a serious tap leak. The microwave had no glass plate, and was on a tilt! Plenty of plates but only 2 mugs. The bed room was also a bit shabby, with tears in the duvet cover, and black hairs in the drawers! The bathroom was the saving grace as it was clean with nice towels and soaps. The pool was heated and had recently been relined, it was clean. But the sun lounges were mouldy and very unwelcoming. The spa consisted of a very very small sauna and steam room. Treatments are available but are expensive so I didn't try them. The hotel was not busy so it was quiet which was a bonus. Beware the walk into town is around 15 mins and only partial pavement, we got a taxi in which cost £8.

Had planned for only one night but the hotel / apartementos was actually too nice to leave and we stayed for another night in a two room apartment. Make sure you arrive to the hotel in time or be in contact with the reception in advance or you won't get in...the reception closes at 6pm. We were lucky 'cause someone from the staff arrived slightly after midnight and we got in. Once you're there there's no problem. Rooms were very nice and clean, and even the smaller room we had the first night had a cooler, small kitchen and a bathroom. For the second night we switched to bigger room with a bigger kitchen, balcony and a separated bedroom / living room. Staff was more than kind with good English skills. Since we were here for Honfleur we didn't mind the lack of restaurant at the hotel ( breakfast was available, but i think that's all). There was also a pool and a spa, but we skipped those as well. A thumbs up experience anyway.

Room tip: A two room apartment was slightly more expensive, but worth the money.
