Lovely hotel, seems to have been recently renovated and in a fantastic location. Few small things could be improved such as lack of hot water one morning and the noise both outside and within the hotel; it was extremely loud late at night and early in the morning. The staff were friendly but pointed out a bar next door when we asked for a cup of coffee; it would be nice if the hotel offered a drinks service. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel but no hot water at 9am in either hotel rooms. No hot water making facility for tea/coffee and no complementary water. Breakfast not included either. View of the cathedral and very central so a great location for exploring but expensive for what you get.

Stayed 2 nights in October, very friendly staff and very nice ambience and decor. We stayed on 3 floor, view over the square. Great location in Lille, easy walking distance to market, cathedral, main square, restaurants and shopping. Oz pub nearby for rugby! Room size is traditional French! Only drawback was the shower - handheld only which does not quite work when you are used to one fixed to the wall!

Visited in August for a weekend. Location: perfect in old town, car parking easily nearby and accessible. Hotel: elegant lobby, educated, friendly and helpful receptionists (for additional info regarding the town and neighbourhood); Elevator! Rooms: spacious, well-designed, very comfortable bed, very clean. Bathroom: also spaciaous, renovated with modern comforts but old-world elegance design. Clean. The shower perhaps for some a bit less handy with only a handheld shower fitting. Rooms facing the square may be a little noisy at night (weekend crowd), not an issue for me, in fact enjoyed looking out at the square during day and at night lovely with lights. If an issue for some perhaps to ask for a room not facing square (but don't know the view there, although I think the back may face the beautiful church and church garden. Price: very good price/quality ratio. All in all, a lovely, classy little hotel (boutique-ish) worth returning to when visiting Lille for a weekend of strolling, dinners, shopping or any on-going weekend event. Recommended!

Room tip: rooms facing the square a little noisy at night (weekend),

Staff is quite helpful and location is great. But would you pay 160 euros for a room on the 3rd floor (without lift) under the roof ? Total space at normal height is probably not more than 12 square meters.
