Beautiful architecture and building. Good shop and also has vending machines for snacks and hot drinks.

Unfortunately there are some hostile and intimidating beggars in and around the station (and garden Juliet also beggars and drinkers at twilight time). Just take care and be assertive.

This train station is still functioning, it takes less then an hour to get here from Brive. The building is spectacular, take some time before rushing into town. The tower next to it and the fountains in the park give it a fairytale feel.

Being a train station in France you expect an astonishing building and in fact it is. The building is all can be as a train station with carved walls, massive glass windows and probably made by the same architect as the city hall of Limoges. Shame that they put this so modern waiting room right in the middle of it which destroy the feeling of the past and look like something fine without budget ( this ruined the all entrance of this train station) if you are in LIMOGES and in the area you can take 5 minutes for visiting that’s all it takes, avoir the area st night like any train station area.
