nice atmosphere, very dated but very charming. The staff were terriffic, very patient with us and very helpfull, and they were very busy on both our visits, and reconised us straight away on our second visit.
I had the Mussels in a cream and the wife had Lasagnes which was very tasty, although at 18 euros a bit expensive, compared to the mussels.
i was advised by a local to have the house red half liter, i think it was 7 Euros. very nice indeed, as he tod me "We french would not drink rubbish wine" Its very near the Station and the canal very easy to find. Again considering how busy it was, the girls did a brilliant job.

Thank john s

We ate in an Olde World Bistro attached to Terminus Hotel on Avenue Du Marechal Joffre in Carcassonne. The name on our receipt is" Sarl Bistro Carca". We had an excellent meal. Very friendly service by knowledgeable waiter. I would strongly recommend this venue for quality of food, ambience & service. The prices for both food and drinks were reasonable. The interior is laid out in little cubicles which give good privacy for conversation

We ate here on our first evening in Carcassonne, and enjoyed it enough to return for lunch on our last day. It's a traditional brasserie in a pleasant Art Deco style, serving a fairly typical menu at reasonable prices. We both enjoyed everything we were served.
The 2-course lunch with coffee for €9.95 was especially good value & the daily specials (hake in a lemony sauce & damson tart) were particularly nice.

This restaurant is near the port and has both indoor and outdoor seating. Large menu with awesome mussels. The cheese pasta is incredible too. Great wine selection and attentive staff. We liked the food so much we went both nights that we were in Carcassonne!!
