We didn’t want to stay in the centre of Paris, so this hotel was perfect.

One of the smallest hotel rooms I have stayed in and annoying that the toilet was separate to the shower room, but the room was very comfortable.

We walked to the Eiffel Tower in just over an hour, but there is a metro station 10 minutes away.

I’m glad we didn’t book a B&B rate as it gave to opportunity to eat at lots of different places.

Didn’t use the pool, as were out all day exploring Paris.

I would certainly return to the hotel.

The room has a small balcony overlooking quiet side street of Paris. Location is a plus nearby all cafes and metro. Moulin rouge is few minutes away. Their hotel breakfast buffet is tasty with lots of food selection. Although it's like a boutique hotel it has a nice pool and steam room. Very clean and private.

The hotel is located close to almost anything that you would need - a few blocks from the Metro Station (Pigalle), pastry shops, church, Moulin Rouge, etc.

The room is typical of Paris flats- small but cozy - ample supply of toiletries, robes and slippers. The breakdast is also nice but they could’ve added more variety.

The staff is very friendly and helpful specially the front desk staff.

I would’ve given them another star if they had not charged my card for the stay that was already paid well in advance. Tried
emailing but no reply. But that might be a miscue on the part of their staff which will be another story.

Overall, the place was adequate, nice and cozy.

Les Matins de Paris is a good hotel in a great location, with a few minor niggles that keep it at a four-star rating rather than five.

The hotel's in the charming Saint-Georges district of the 9th arrondissement - a short walk from Montmartre and the Moulin Rouge, but far enough away from the tourist trial to feel genuinely Parisian (the shops on the surrounding streets were full of locals). It's a great base, and has good Metro access to the rest of the city.

We stayed in a standard room on the first floor, which came with its own terrace. The room itself was fairly small, but very comfortable (a very soft bed) and nicely decorated. The bathroom was excellent, particularly the shower. The space issue meant the wardrobe was a bit pokey (there wasn't really room to put anything in there other than the dressing gowns already provided) and walking round the bed was a bit of a squeeze. The handle to the door to the terrace was also a bit wobbly, which was a slight surprise as the hotel isn't that old.

Part of the reason we booked this hotel was for the spa, which is free to all guests and open most of the day (0700-1130; 1230-2100). The pool is a reasonable size and nicely-lit with jacuzzi-style jets at the shallow end; there's also a steam room. The one main problem (which, in fairness, is explained when you arrive) is that people can hire out the spa for a private session - at any time - for a fee, making a slight mockery of the opening hours. We went down there one morning, donned in our dressing gowns, only to find it was shut. Once we did get in, the steam room was turned off until just before we left.

It's a pity, really, as it takes just a little bit of sheen of what was an excellent experience. The staff were extremely friendly, and in spite of the niggles, we'd stay here again.

This boutique hotel was beautifully decorated and contained all of the amenities that we were looking for during our stay. We stayed in one of the top floor rooms with a balcony which had a very Parisian view of tall townhouses and the Sacre-Coeur in the background. We visited for my birthday and the hotel did a great job of decorating the room for us as well as providing us with some complementary macaroons.

From the bathroom we had a great view of the Eiffel tower, however one observation was that the toilet was for some reason very high! (Even for me and I am 5ft 7”).

During the day the room was lit beautifully by the sunlight coming in from the large balcony doors, however in the evenings the room was very dark as there were only a couple of dim ceiling lights and lamps to light the room. It created a nice atmosphere but not ideal if you are getting ready for an evening out!

On our second night we had a power cut at the hotel but the staff were very prompt to come up and investigate the fuse box. Everything was back up and running again within 10 mins or so.

The hotel’s small indoor pool was great for a morning swim and the Jacuzzi jets were very powerful once you turned them on. Given the hotel is small, there was usually a good level of privacy in the pool and sauna area.

The hotel’s location was great as there were independent bakeries and deli’s lining the main road next to the hotel, as well a supermarket for all of the essentials. The hotel was about a 15min walk from Gare du Nord and also Galleries Lafayette, the Opera and the Sacre-Coeur.
