Having eaten here many time as a student in 1999, I wanted to try it again. The shawarma poulet is still amazing.

we were walking in the area and found this place. they have two places to sit outdoor or inside as a restaurant in another room. we sat outdoor, my husband had a shawarma and he loved it. i had kebbe, falafel and spinach fatayer. it was okay. we took desserts with us which was so delicious. its not so cheap if you are so hungry.
many people were coming and leaving which shows its a clean yummy place.

Very disappointing Dry over-cooked chicken, hot starters that were cold, unattentive waiters, etc .... and way over-priced: to avoid at all costs!!!!

With other (read, better) Lebanese restaurants closed for August, we gave this one a try.

In short, the food is quite overpriced, and standard dishes often come with nothing: the shish taouk, for example, comes with nothing -- no rice, no vegetables, nada. The food itself is rather bland, to match the décor: there is nothing Lebanese about the place. It is cold and lacks authenticity, lacking in any touches of culture and atmosphere.

We had to ask for bread, and the waiter handed us a stack of tasteless pita still in the plastic bag!

Poor value for money, in both food and experience.

I like Lebanese cuisine, and found myself in front of this place when most restaurants in the neighbour hood were closed. So took the plunge completely blind, but regretted it from the outset. Service tried to be friendly, but our first choices were all unavailable, and what we did order was flavourless and over booked. Prices very high relative to quality. Won't be repeating that mistake.

Thank Christopher K
