I stayed in this house with 13 other girls for 3 nights for a hen weekend in October 2014. I was a bit nervous as there were no reviews for the house and it looked a bit too good to be true but we couldn't of asked for any better! The house is even more fabulous than it looks on the photos!
There were no arguments over who was sleeping in which room as all the rooms were lovely and all had a different unique feature. The communal space was perfect, large enough to accommodate all the guests and perfect for pre-entertainment before the Moulin Rogue, something that a hotel couldn't provide. The dining table seated 14 so we could all have dinner together and cook in the house which saved costs eating out every night. The little terrace was perfect just to have a bit of outdoor space and could be accessed from 3 of the floors.
Location was 5/10 minute walk to Bastille Metro stop or 5 minute walk to Gare de Lyon train station. There was a supermarket at the end of the street that stocked everything you would need.
Joel was a brilliant host, very easy to contact. Greeted me at the house on arrival and came back to check us out at the time arranged so no waiting about. As we had a late flight home, he let us keep our bags at the house so we didn't have to carry them all day. Very helpful and had some great recommendations for things to do and also speaks perfect English.
I would recommend any large group to stay here, some of the stairs are narrow and there is a metal spiral staircase to one room so maybe not the best for small children/older people.
