We stayed upstairs at the Hotel Albe Saint Michel and loved having this great boulangerie downstairs for morning coffee runs.

A nice place to get some traditional pastries. We enjoyed the raspberry tart (la tarte aux framboises.) Service was quick and nice. I would come back here for more pastries.

We stopped by this morning before starting our touring for the day. Pastries were all excellent. We tried the chocolate almond croissant & almond croissant, rolled out (cone shaped) croissant with chocolate (the tastiest) & their cheese bread. Pastries were all flakey & fresh. Carmel coffee was good. Would have liked it if the Almond croissants had a little more flavor but still good! Super friendly & helpful staff!

We ended up here after spending quite some time looking for a place that had nice looking cakes. This is a bakery with a cafe, so don't expect any cooked food or alcoholic drinks. The cakes we had did not disappoint, so it was a good choice in the end. The whole area is very hit and miss, so it's definitely one of the better places for a stopover. What we found to be inconvenient was that the place did not have a toilet.

We found this boulangerie to be very friendly and helpful inspite of language barriers. Coffee was just right and the crosssiants very nice-expecially the chocolate ones.
