Stayed midweek, in a classic double room. The room was bigger than I expected from reading reviews of Parisian hotels, plenty of room for two people and the bed was huge and very comfortable. Two good nights sleep for both of us. Hotel was quiet (although as I say it was mid week) and in a great location in the Latin quarter. 5 minute walk or less to the RER which takes you straight to gare du nord, or two stops to the main metro interchange for the rest of Paris. 10 minutes walk to le Rue Mouffetard which is fantastic, a must do for any trip to the area. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Literally the only negative is that the wifi was poor - you wouldn't be able to use it for working or streaming. Overall, a great boutique hotel and I would definitely recommend.

We were recommended to this hotel by members of our family living nearby.
We were pleased with the reception we received on arrival and the quality of the classic room we had booked. Everything we needed in the room including a kettle and coffee. Very well cleaned every day of our 5 nights. If anything the room was a touch small.
Breakfast was a bit lacking on our last morning as everyone one had been there before us!
Well positioned for Les Jardins de Luxembourg, the RER station and the Pantheon.
Situated in a quite sreet which was a bonus.

Room tip: A room with a bath

Lovely small French hotel in the 5th arrondissement. The staff was exceptionally helpful with all my questions and directions. Small but tastefully decorated room with bath. Linens and bed very comfortable. Stunning breakfast room with many selections on the buffet.

We again stayed at The Relais Saint-Jacques. It is very well located near to RER Line B which goes directly to Gare du Nord (Eurostar) and Charles de Gaulle Airport. It is near to other metro and bus stops. Our stay was very enjoyable. The staff are very friendly and professional. The room was quiet and pleasant.

Room tip: As with all mid range Paris hotels the rooms are quite small.

The hotel is of good quality, well placed, easy to reach with the metro in a quiet area close to the Luxembourg gardens, the Pantheon and the Sorbonne.
Nearby rue Mouffettard, frequented mostly by students of the surrounding university, offers some nice pubs and restaurants.
The staff is kind, good breakfast, nice rooms, bathroom with whirlpool.
The price is reasonable for this standard and for Paris if you book via Internet, otherwise the ordinary rate would be quite expensive.
Only complaint: wifi connection very slow.
