We came to the restaurant several times before when it was the balagan (we could find some dish that were from the time)
We were sat at the bar, facing the cooks.
Always nice experience as you get to try some creations which you won't get at the table.
The food was excellent, and the service, facing the cooks is very nice.

Will come again when the opportunity comes.

Food Good, Service absolutely terrible.

I love Mediterranean food and I’ve enjoyed some fabulous meals in Paris on previous visits. This resturant was a recommendation via AMEX.

We were seated at the counter overlooking the kitchen. We’ve done this at other resturant and throughly enjoyed the experience. Chefs calmly going about their art.

We started well. The chefs talking to us and then after a while taking our order. The lamb chops were not on option today.

Our food arrived promptly and then chaos descended. The head chef seemed more interested in her friends (free wine) and the lamb chops which were off the menu arrived for them as a “present from the chef’.

The temperature in the kitchen was clearly rising as the Head Chef shouted at the waiters and customers complained. For us, no body took our plates and we were simply ignored for the rest of the evening. No desert, and we had to get up to ask for the bill - we were just ignored.

The food is good but not amazing but it’s the really poor service which means we won’t be returning again.

Incredible food, the best service and great ambiance! Try the breads , the sauces, the kebabs, the fattoush salad ,the eggplant and the cocktails -especially Nora the explorer if you like spice. If you are lucky enough to get Sofiane as a waiter ask for ordering advice and try the specials. Wonderful !

Fresh, innovative Mediterranean food in a lively setting! The breads were particularly memorable. The polenta was also delicious.

Such a wonderful dining experience. Kapara makes sure they have plenty of employees to give attentive and courteous service. The atmosphere was playful with sophistication. The open kitchen concept allowed us to see all the dishes they served tonight, and they all looked wonderful. My wife is vegan, so they served us a special menu and we interacted with the chefs throughout our evening. The starter was an Israeli flatbread with 2 dips, one spicy and one savory. We also had grilled asparagus, a traditional stew and beets served in a honey-almond sauce. The flavors were amazing. The presentation felt like we were in a family kitchen with an extra bit of flair. We really enjoyed everything about this restaurant that is just one block off the Rue d'Rivoli.
