We have stayed for a weekend vacation with my family in this small but really nice hotel. The staff was helpful and spoke english well. As we only needed a place to rest in the evening after the long days of sightseeing, the triple room was perfect for us, but it may be a bit small for a longer stay. The hotel was clean and tidy. The optional breakfast and free wifi were also a nice plus. Would definitely stay here again.

fair for stay few days, not WOW service noticed, clean & quite rooms but narrow and small, suitable for business or emergency stay only. it is near montparnasse main underground station enables you to go through Paris easily. receptionist will not allow to you to take room key out with you even for short period of time. also the Hotel is not suitable for smokers at all. no elevator to reception, you need to walk around 30 ladder steps.

Room Tip: ask reception for quite room

Dear M_Kharma, thank you for your comment on hotel du Parc.
We are happy that you have spend a nice stay during your bussiness trip. Our hotel is off course very convinient for the tourists, it's a nice and quiet place for sleeping when you are in Paris for visiting the city. In Montparnasse we are Lucky to have the metro and busses lines to go everywhere directly.
Some précisions about your comment:
if you have to leave the key each time you go out it's for security , and for the security of the next guests in the room.
It's not only the hotel which is not suitable for smokers, but almost everywhere in France: hôtels, restaurants, stations, metro, bus, train, air plane...
We hope to see you next time in Paris, with bests regards

My partner booked this hotel as a surprise for my 21st, as neither of us had been to Paris before we needed somewhere to stay whilst touring the famous landmarks. This hotel met our expectations for just that. Quick check in, comfy rooms equipped with a bathroom, television and wardrobes. We unpacked our things and the only time we spent here was during sleeping hours. If your looking for somewhere to do just this, here's your place. It's close to everything and the underground! We ate at a few local restaurants which were very enjoyable. Would return here.

Great location right next to the metro, great rooms (my family had 2 to accommodate our large group), superb private bathrooms, optional add-on breakfast that offers everything you could ever want, and wonderful help at front desk. Needed a cab on last day to return to airport and the hotel arranged a very nice cab for us. The luggage hold proved very helpful for our arrival day. Free computer access in lobby was also helpful. Will stay here again!

Location of this hotel was good, you do need to take the metro to get to most of the main tourist attractions really, unless you're willing to walk 40mins or so each way.

There were 3 of us staying in a triple room. To give you an idea of the size of everything, the lift only fitted 2 of us in at once, and in our room, at least 1 of us had to be sat on the bed at any one time due to lack of space!! But very Parisian!!

Don't bother asking for a kettle/tea in your room, they didn't have a clue what I was asking for when I asked. Eventually I got given a kettle and a single cup and that was it!!

Worth what you pay for though and it's fine if you just want to sleep there, but no more than that.
