It is a nice looking hotel and very conveniently located. Good for travellers who come in from Gare du Nord! The Parisian man who greeted me for check-in was very interesting and hearing him explain the amenities of the hotel in his Paris accent was a highlight. The rooms were comfortable. I did not get a balcony, which would have been epic. The location is great! Lots of bars around and good food! Breakfast was continental. I personally am not a fan of continental breakfast! Which continent is my question!? But the croissants were fresh!
Each room had a Nespresso machine, which is a delight!
The shower was excellent. The water pressure was a surprise and it soaked the bathroom and hallway floor. Maybe Poseidon was mad that day at me like he was with Oddyseus! They have this towel heater in the bathroom which is a French thing. I inquired with the receptionist and couldn't believe I never seen one in my life! It makes the bathroom warm! Which is good, especially on a cold winter day!
I have two complaints. The elevator was always blocked with vacuum cleaners multiple times to transport towels. But stairs are good for the heart, maybe they were looking out for me!
My second complaint is I was constantly asked what my room number was. I am a very unique looking client during my stay!
Night receptionist was interesting.
If I were to go back, I would most likely stay there again.
Also when googling your hotel name, its in Chinese for some reason. I forgot how to read Mandarin!
