Four stars on the door? Really?

2.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 23 Dec 2022via mobile
Again, I would like to return to the concept value for money. We got a Superior room but felt more like a shabby single, worn and tired. Nice staff that meant well and yes, comfortable beds which I will NOT be grateful for, at that price it is the minimum I expect. Not being satisfied we passed on breakfast and ate elsewhere. On the plus side: Check out is at 14.00 which is really good.

The hotel is colorful and tastefully decorated, but shabby - not shabby chic, rather past it’s prime.
I asked for a quiet room, which wasn't met with a room on the second floor and close to the elevator.
I also paid for a premium room, but given how cramped it was I wonder what a normal room looks like. The bed was comfortable, but all in all the stay was far from the 4 star experience that I paid for.

This hotel is a must if you are looking for a home from home experience. The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and eager to make you feel comfortable and well looked after.

The rooms and communal areas are well maintained. The coffee in the reception area was very much appreciated whilst working in the comfortable lounge area and sending emails before leaving the hotel.

The charm of this hotel (as side from the manager and wonderful staff - thank you Nawar) is the design. It is carried through to the lightening, wall paper and the smallest of touches.

An excellent hotel right in the heart of Pigalle/ Blanche.

Lovely staff, and really comfortable room, we stayed in the hotel for 5 days and every day we were able to reach the centre of the city walking for max 40 minutes! The area is peaceful and quiet, metro really close and few bus station which allowed you to go everywhere in 10 minutes!

Highly recommend

Stayed a few nights for my honeymoon. Peaceful, great service, and close to lots of attractions. Would recommend for those looking for a quite place that is close to lots of major areas. Also very near the metro.

This is a great place to stay in Paris. The atmosphere of the hotel is welcoming and the staff are helpful (thank you to Alice!). While our room was small (remember, it’s Paris) the space and storage was well used. We travel with hand luggage and backpacks. Luggage could be stored under the bed. We had a lovely and bright view of the street. When we closed the windows and curtains it was dark and quiet. The hotel was clean and beds were comfy. Around the hotel there are many cafes and restaurants, bus and metro stops, pharmacy, grocery store and laundry: very convenient. Coffee and water (still and sparkling) is available in the lobby. We like to walk so didn’t mind being less central and we did make use of the metro to get to the left bank and the train station. If you like being in the heart of major attractions though, this might not be the place for you. Other guests mentioned A/C and water. It took a bit of figuring but we did get the a/c to a comfortable temperature but it’s not the same as central a/c you might have in other places. We actually preferred having the window open for the cool morning and evening breeze. The warm water did take some time but we found if we put the faucet on both the shower and tap to max for about 2 minutes the hot water came up and we could adjust it from there. There is a small lift and stairs. Overall I think this is a great place to stay in Paris if you prefer a quieter neighbourhood and local atmosphere.
