This is a great place to stay in Paris. The atmosphere of the hotel is welcoming and the staff are helpful (thank you to Alice!). While our room was small (remember, it’s Paris) the space and storage was well used. We travel with hand luggage and backpacks. Luggage could be stored under the bed. We had a lovely and bright view of the street. When we closed the windows and curtains it was dark and quiet. The hotel was clean and beds were comfy. Around the hotel there are many cafes and restaurants, bus and metro stops, pharmacy, grocery store and laundry: very convenient. Coffee and water (still and sparkling) is available in the lobby. We like to walk so didn’t mind being less central and we did make use of the metro to get to the left bank and the train station. If you like being in the heart of major attractions though, this might not be the place for you. Other guests mentioned A/C and water. It took a bit of figuring but we did get the a/c to a comfortable temperature but it’s not the same as central a/c you might have in other places. We actually preferred having the window open for the cool morning and evening breeze. The warm water did take some time but we found if we put the faucet on both the shower and tap to max for about 2 minutes the hot water came up and we could adjust it from there. There is a small lift and stairs. Overall I think this is a great place to stay in Paris if you prefer a quieter neighbourhood and local atmosphere.
