An historical place with incredible collections and Great show ´s both historical and contemporary .Both a museum and manufacture , still living at an international scale.
The best of French craftmanship . You can visit and buy from a beautifull selection which is very expensive ,but you buy history and treasure craftmanship .

This is very interesting with ceramics throughout history and from different parts of the world. There are three floors. There is a permanent section and a temporary section for new exhibits. It s also next to a wonderful park.

Getting this far out of central Paris, away from any other reason, is not the best use of time and energy. The collection is not very impressive in comparison with M.Arts Decoratif and labeled the lazy way... numbers that correspond to a list not adjacent to the object of interest. Due to recent events, self important security personnel are too busy putting visitors thru a metal detector to answer any questions. I viewed a seventyish gentleman probably with a hip replacement, nearly ready to drop his trousers
to make it into the museum. No cafe but no place surrounding for a coffee. Minimal shop but then who would wish to remember the let down of the visit ?

Beautiful ceramic pieces, enjoyed it without english explanations too.
There is the manufacture "next door", but only open on school holidays and you need to make a reservation in advance!
