Great experience from start to finish. The trip adviser 5 star rating is warranted from our experience - lots of really nice touches - a welcome drink, chocolates in our room, a tote bag which was handy for our day in Paris and will be used now we are home. Excellent location for the Gare du Nord - far enough away to avoid the crowds of the station but only a 10 minute walk. Also excellent location for Stade de France - just one stop away on the RER..
The hotel is in a traditional Parisian building and the rooms were clean and nicely decorated with lots of individual touches. This is a nice contrast to corporate hotels. One big plus for me - you can open the windows and soak up the atmosphere from the street below.
The staff were all really friendly and super helpful. Their knowledge of the area meant they could give us some helpful recommendations of where to eat and where to shop. They had also set up a guide to the Olympics - how to get to the venues etc.
If we return to Paris we would definitely stay in this hotel again.

We went to the Olympics. We had a lot of fun. The nicest staff in the world. They was always kind and good mood.
The room is very clean and comfortable. The equipment is new and modern.
We just had breakfast. The food was wonderful, fresh and tasty.

The staff at Maison Mère really went above and beyond in making our stay a memorable one. They helped us find local restaurants to dine at and we also enjoyed the cuisine and the experience at their in-house restaurant Nectar. We really felt welcome and enjoyed the notes the staff left for us. If we were to come back to Paris we'd definitely book with Maison Mère again.
