I found this hotel in Booking and I phoned them to make sure that the information in Booking that says they admit animals is correct. The woman who answered the phone was very rude and repeated lots of times that they DON'T accept dogs, when I was just trying to tell her that they should tell Booking about it. Clearly she didn't speak english and she was treating me like if I was dumb. I would never go there, with or without my dog.

I am very surprised to read your comment and I think you mixed up the hotels. We are a group of four hotels and the Résidence du Pré is the only one accepting animals with open arms and paws.
I sincerely assume that you contacted one of the others hotels. In fact they do not accept animals.

Very well located hotel, near the Gare Du Nord (700 m), in the immediate vicinity of Lafayete Boulevard,on a quiet street. Area with many restaurants and grocery stores .Subway station nearby. Small room, of the Parisian type,10-12 sqm. Very thin walls and door, you always have the feeling that someone is trying to open your door. Well equipped, with the accessories of a 3 star hotel, nothing more. Well done daily cleaning.Very good Wi-Fi.We did not serve breakfast in the hotel restaurant, we cannot appreciate the quality. A very friendly young female receptionist.Narrow space of the room common to mid-range hotel rooms in Paris. Unusually small elevator for 2 people or one person with 1 suitcase. Check-in is only at 2 pm, unambiguous. Maybe for Paris is a good quality-price ratio.
Carolina is very welcoming to us and Faisal went out of his way to help us several times. He is very informative and helpful all the time during our stay. We really appreciate it and definitely will come back because of the staff!
The hotel is a lot run down, particularly the entrance. Breakfast is poor, with low quality food. The showers have either a partial door or none, means that the small bathroom gets flooded. Had to ask to have enough shampoo, as they provided a small bottle for 3! Staff a mix of pleasant and rude people.
Great location.
Think for the same price, can find a better option, and I will do this next time.
They have "non-refundable" offers, and maybe we are naive for paying in advance, but should Paris go on strike and your transportation to the city be cancelled, do not expect any sympathy. In fact, expect to be goaded when asking for your money back.
Lesson is do not under any circumstances pay them up front, and my advice is do not stay there.
