Really enjoyed our stay at the Grand Hotel St Michel. Location was great both for tourism and arrival from Gare de Nord. Everything was clean and modern and the aircon worked, always a plus in Europe. Very helpful and friendly staff completed an excellent hotel.

Room tip: Great views from the 6th floor

After my great stay at this hotel in 2015, I decided to come back with my mother to let her discover the beauty of Paris.
We stayed in the deluxe panoramic room. The room was very clean and well decorated, we had a jacuzzi bath and a balcony with a beautiful view on the Sorbone and Pantheon.
The mosts of this hotel are the steam bath, the massage sofa and the free tea time in the afternoon.
The staff is always very nice and helpful, I highly recommend this hotel!

This was a lovely little hotel - clean and friendly. The beds were comfortable with lovely soft sheets. The location was perfect and within walking distance of the Luxembourg Gardens and the wonderful vibrant streets of Saint Michel. We were given excellent tips for eating and getting around the city.

The location of this hotel is perfect. There are several metro lines near the hotel (St-Michel, Odéon, Cluny la Sorbonne etc.) not even a 10 minutes walk. There’s also a RER next to it.

We were also able to walk to many popular Paris sites, Panthéon, Luxembourg Gardens, Louvre museum, Town Hall, even the Catacombs. It’s also not a far walk from Le Marais neighborhood. It seemed like it was close to everything.

As for the hotel itself, the staff was very nice, they were helpful in any questions or concern we had. I went with my mother who is a bit of a germophobe and she was satisfied with the cleanliness of the room as well. The room are a little bit small, but it seems to be a norm in many major European cities, also you don’t really go to Paris to stay in a hotel room all day, so it did not bother us at all.

Oh and the beds and pillows are extremely comfortable ! Sadly, much more comfortable than what I have at home ! 

Wifi was fast.

Overall, it was a great stay and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to explore the city to the fullest.

Thanks

The name of this hotel is quite misleading. Don't let the name fool you. Although the this hotel is nice, everything about it is very small. The room/toilet/shower/dining room/lobby/gym, very petite.

However it has a Good location and good service.

Dear Annalynnpadilla,

I feel really sorry to read that your room did not completely meet your expectation and that the GHSM services did not give you full satisfaction, be sure that we take every review into consideration.

The classic room is indeed our smallest type of room (13m²). Compared to US or UK standards, I know there is a real difference with the Latin Quarter standards, we apologize for that.

The front desk team would have been glad to show you other type of rooms that are much larger during your stay such as our superior rooms or our relax double rooms.

I hope you enjoyed – even if it was small – our steam room, fitness room and massage seat that are all offered for every guest. I would be pleased to answer to all your requests at contact@ghsmp.com or over the phone at +33.(0)1.46.33.33.02

I will definitively be pleased to welcome you in person if you decide to come back in our hotel.

With kind regards,
M. P
