When we arrived I instantly felt at home. The house and the setting are most definitely French, but have all the mod cons you need and plenty of space - there's a separate lounge and dining room which is really nice - it feels like a proper Breton home, not a cheaply furnished holiday let. It was just a short walk to town, which has been preserved very well with much of the medieval buildings and the town ramparts remaining - there's a real character about it. Loads of bars, taverns and gift shops packed with amazing crafts. The river is beautiful - highly recommend a walk along it - we saw a lizard much to the kids delight!
Highly recommend staying here - very helpful British owners too - gave us great advice about a lovely beach on the Brittany Coast that is much less touristy.
