Another of the Ibis chain that we were more than happy to stay with. Clean and tidy with comfortable bedding, great staff and a lovely cheery atmosphere following the ibis makeovers and only a short drive to the harbour. A great price also, would thoroughly recommend

Clean, functional, cheap. Everything you need for an overnight. Located close to Concarneau so it's just a short drive in to see the sights or for food, so it doesn't matter that there are very few restaurants around - though there are a few chains and a supermarket if you are in need.

The room was newly refurbished so was in a great condition. The shower cubicle and toilet cubicle are behind separate doors, with a sink in the room, but arranged so to be really useful. Double bed was a good size and the room had a small TV and several charging points in useful places. We were on the top floor which was nice and quiet, despite being near the lift we didn't hear too much noise or movement at night.

Could do with a few more pillows in the room as the one they give you is exceptionally thin. Receptionist was rather surly and did not like us sitting in the restaurant to eat our picnic (despite this being at night so really they were unused benches). At check in the reception was not open and we were pointed to an automated booth, which it turns out only accepts credit card - so we were unable to use the Euro card we had used to book.

For walkers/cyclists there are some lovely trails not far from the hotel that lead into Concarneau and the surrounding suburbs. Great location for surrounding Concarneau and it's easy to find.

was again staying at the IBIS Budget and will certainly come back again!
rooms are clean, still new after the renovation.
reception speaks English.
Breakfast for only EUR6.50 is giving you a good buffet-style option with croissants, baguette, jams, etc.
Since February 2017 a new and upgraded reception!
Free WiFi works well and is fast.

Impeccable. Clean, cheap, efficient. Only drawback was lack of choice in walking distance restaurants - both industrial type chains, and not inexpensive. I am not a meat eater so chose the Potato based chain and had an ok meal.
Not much more to say - well situated and quiet once window shut.

Stayed at the Concarneau Ibis budget for one night, and found it clean, functional and was positively surprised for a hotel at 49 euro / night. Conveniently located with Buffalo restaurant and Multiplex cinemas at 100 meters. You'll need a car though if you want to go to the old town. Ideal for a budget stopover.
