I stayed here a few weeks ago for one night. I opted for this hotel as the photos on all the different sites made it look like a lovely hotel. How wrong was I?
First off you have until 9pm to get your key for your room, which is not advertised anywhere, I only know this because the receptionist rang me to see where I was, and what time I would be arriving. My train arrived at Bordeaux at 8:40pm and I needed to rung to get there in time.
I got the key to my room, and talk about disappointed does not cover it.
The rooms are dated and nothing like advertised in the photos they have put on the internet.
The bathroom is small, with a huge water boiler over the toilet. I am 5ft1 and found it a struggle not to smack my head everytime I used the toilet.
The sink unit was broke, and the tap was not fixed down properly and wobbles about when you try and use it.
The shower had several hoels dotted around. No idea why and what had previously made these holes.
The flooring was chipped and broke throughout the room.
I went to plug my phone in to charge it and found the cables leading up to the plug socket were open, very dangerous.
Someone tried several times getting into my room at 11pm; and when you are a woman travelling on your own, this is scary.
No aircon in the room, so you will cook slowly throughout the night.
No hairdryer! Seriously what hotel doesn't offer a hairdryer?
The hotel is situated on a very busy room, and the noise through out the night is awful.
I hardly slept here, and I would recommend not staying here.
Not value for money. Go further up the road to the All Suites apparthotel.
