We stayed here for 2 days with our young children.

Good points.

Valet parking available and the team are great! Looked after our bikes and went out of their way to be helpful
Comfortable rooms
Friendly staff at reception
Lovely restaurants nearby
Great breakfast
Wine museum is great to visit
Cycling by the river is great activity with kids
Food market a must

One of the great hotel experiences we've had in a years of travelling. The woman who runs the breakfast room is an absolute delight.

The hotel is totally quiet despite being in the center of just about anything you'd want to do in Bordeaux.

Bordeaux has so much to show you and experiment do not hesitate to contact the great concierge team who will recommend unforgettable activities.

Comfortable beds. Housekeeping able to accommodate short time to clean the room.
Attentive staff in the lobby.

I highly recommend Intercontinental, Bordeaux

I have been to this hotel many times and had good experiences. Today was a very poor experience. I waited to be seated at the outside ground floor bar. I waited 10 minutes. Then when I told them a seat for one for drinks, they told me “impossible”. Yet there were about 8 people sitting having drinks. She told me they were short staffed and could not serve me. So I was simply rejected. This is very poor indeed. If so short staffed how come there were people drinking there and it wasn’t closed? Also there were four servers I saw running around serving those 8 people.. I expect a lot more from a hotel like this and to reject customers out of hand after having me wait 10 minutes was unacceptable to me. If you are short staffed close the area down don’t pick and choose who you let in or not. Amateur in my opinion.

I planned this trip as a surprise for my partner and it was a devine experience from beginning to end.Staff was so nice, with smiles on all the time and ready to help with anything you need. Lovely Agathe took us upstairs to our room which was located on the 3rd floor in a quiet area perfect for us to enjoy every single moment of our special time.We are so grateful for the upgrade they’ve given us and also for the whole experience.We’ve dined once in Bordeaux restaurant and the quality and freshness of food was exceptional.The Spa facilities are clean and pool was fantastic designed.

We will highly recommend to stay here if you visit Bordeaux!

Super friendly staff, beautiful suite room, top rooftop bar with a nice view ver the city . And very nice restaurant with a big wine list and amzing frensh food !
When we come back to Bordeaux we will stay in this hotel again ! Also the parking lot of hte hotel is very big and easy to acces

We booked thePrestige Suite thru Amex Fine Hotel program but this hotel is at most a 3 star. Room does have a nice view of the opera house but also can hear the train going by. There is no club lounge like other intercontinental. Furns look a bit worn and dingy( for a 1,600/ nite suite. Blackout curtain by bed is the cheap kind u buy and piece together. The velcro was worn so light comes in. The worse is the breakfast buffet. It’s like a grand. Entral station and they are always out of stuff. And when you ask they always would say 2 min and gave attutude. Room service was excellent. The billing i fo on tv made no sense and they ofter double or triple charge for items.
