Mama Shelter Bordeaux is perfect for exploring Bordeaux, with an extremely cute rooftop bar. The room was cozy and perfect for my wife and I during our trip.
By far, the service was unparalleled. When my airline Air Canada lost my luggage, they were able to store it for more than a month while I waited for the airline to arrange pickup. They were extremely accommodating and I will not hesitate to stay here or any other Mama Shelter locations again.

Wonderful stay - the place has funky feel - everyone was so friendly and helpful. Location is great and the rooftop bar and restaurant was perfect and so welcome after a long day sightseeing to come back and have a drink before retiring. Would definitely go back.

The vibe is cool but the noise can be loud. The rooms are small. Very small. And the bathroom feels institutional. The breakfast is fantastic. It was one of the best buffets we had in France, and featured hot and cold dishes. The location is excellent.

The visual aesthetics of the hotel are modern art-ish, and the pictures on the website look good. But what they don’t tell you is they let “DJ’s” loose on the common areas. The rooftop was inhospitable to us starting at 4pm AND the main floor after dinner. Unless you have nostalgia for a 90’s dance club stay far away.

L'hôtel est plus calme sur les début de semaine mais en fin de semaine, nos espaces sont dynamisés par une programmation musicale avec des animations diverses et variées. Le Jeudi, le rooftop vous accueille sans réservation pour un verre et des tapas avec une Sunset Party + Dj Live chill et décontractée en plein air tandis qu'au rez-de-chaussée, les Happy Days vous font vibrer au son des années 90 avec une offre au bar et l'happy hour ! Je suis navré que vous n'ayez pu profiter pleinement de nos espaces.

This trendy hotel has small rooms but nice staff. They refuse to provide shampoo and hair conditioner, unlike any other property i have stayed in years. They insist body wash is fine for your hair.
I won't come back.
