Stayed here on an unseasonably-warm autumn weekend so the roof-top bar was a great bonus. The guys who checked us late at night in were super friendly, which is always the initial test by which I measure a stay. The room - can't remember what category I had but it wasn't the smallest - seemed a weird design with the bed in the middle of the room which wasted space.
So overall it was really good, but a couple of things.
It's great to have dim lighting in the restaurant at night but seriously please turn them up a bit for breakfast. We were literally groping around in the dark, even though we sat by a window.
And on our floor, the corridors all looked over a central courtyard, but all the blinds were pulled down all day which made everything really dark. How about someone rolls them up every now and again...we're not all vampires. It's not as if there any privacy issues because no bedrooms face the courtyard.
But overall a good stay and would recommend to friends.
