First the good, pleasant check in, great location just a couple of blocks from the Victorie Plaza. Reception was pleasant - though not sure how you are supposed to get in without them giving you the code before hand to the gates. If you make a reservation be sure to get the gate code before going. The room was good, clean and the little kitchenette was stocked (some Apart places make you pay if you want to use the kitchen items).
What is not good is the bathtub - there is a fixed piece of glass, the tub is high and when you go to step in, due to the glass, you are stepping in on the slanted end of the tub - there are no grab bars - this is a very dangerous situation. Once I managed to get in without breaking my neck, the shower hose is attached to the wall at waist level - ?? I am short but this would work only for a kid. Next the water would go cold, then super hot, then back to the set temperature about every 15 - 20 seconds, this cycle continued throughout the shower - not fun. I had LOTS of pressure, the next morning when my husband showered we could only get a trickle of water to come out - was on the same settings as the night before - he took a cold dribble shower, nothing would come out. The TV in our room (#309) has awful sound, the speaker is shot and vibrates making it difficult to listen to. The internet was decent, the bed pretty good and our room pretty quiet, we chose this place because of location and that it had a fridge - I like my water cold. We stayed 2 nights and I would stay again, but would ask if they had a room with a shower versus tub and a TV that didn't have vibrating sound.
