This hotel is located on the river about a 45 minute scenic walk to the center of the city, or a 10 minute bike ride using the bike rental station located just half a block from the hotel (and located throughout the city). While there is a food court on the ground floor of the office building next to the hotel offering limited lunch and dinner options, the center of the city provides many more desirable choices. The main train station is no more than a 15 minute walk away, and the airport is a 25-30 minute shuttle ride (or 1 hour by city bus from the train station). The hotel itself is a modern 10 story structure located in close proximity to an exposition/convention center and appears popular with business travelers. Check-in and checkout by the efficient multi-lingual staff was flawless, and they were helpful in planning tours and providing restaurant recommendations throughout my stay. My king bed room on the top floor of the hotel was quite spacious, and had mini-fridge along with an electric kettle with coffee and tea service. Internet speed was average, and handled VOIP phone calls well, but it was not fast enough to steam videos. The bathroom was adequate size, neither spacious nor too small, with a single basin sink, and a large walk-in full size shower, but no bathtub. The shower featured a ceiling rain shower head, along with a handheld nozzle. The water was always hot with good pressure. The room was cold and dark for sleeping, with little or no noticeable hallway noise, and the bed was quite comfortable. My room was properly cleaned early each afternoon. The gym was adequate for basic workouts, and the equipment was modern and well maintained. The breakfast buffet will prove disappointing for those looking for healthy options, but it did offer typical bacon, eggs, cereal, pastries, fruit and a waffle station which will satisfy most tastes. Although the location is not centrally located, this should not detour those looking for a clean modern hotel with good service so long as you do not mind walking or biking to the city center, or have a car.
