Excellent location. The hotel is 5 - 7 minutes walk from both Central station St Jean and Tram stations (Line C and D). Both Tram lines lead to the old town (15 mins). Take the exit "Belcier", leading to the hall 3 of the Central train station, and the hotel is 200 m away.
Room is clean and comfortable.

Very new hotel and it makes a difference to 3 star hotels. Everything was in good condition and rooms had everything you need. Friendly staff on the front desk offered good advice on getting to town and place to get a drink local to the hotel. Slightly odd area, but felt safe and easy access to town via the tram.
Located conveniently for the train station, not in a fantastic location for bars and restaurants but an easy fifteen minute walk to the nightlife round the station. Rooms are basic but spotlessly clean. Everything you would need when you are spending all day sightseeing and only needing somewhere to shower and sleep, second time here and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again the next time I’m in Bordeaux.
Stranded in Bordeaux overnight due to a delayed train (no fault of SNCF), I was allocated this hotel by SNCF, and it was excellent. Although it took me and other displaced passengers a little bit of effort to find the hotel (this was the fault of SNCF this time), it was worth the 5 minute walk from the station. The hotel is modern, clean, well furnished, and the bed was excellent. Breakfast was generous and of good quality. Staff were friendly, even when dealing singlehandedly with an influx of frustrated and tired passengers. Yes, I would definitely return if I find myself in Bordeaux again.
We stayed in the hotel for one night. We arrived ahead of time but the room was ready for check-in which was very good since we came from a 3-hour train journey. The room was fairly new and there was a lot of plugs which is very handy. It is a short walk from the train station.
