Hotel was a little tricky to find but once found and we checked in the room is very small. I booked for 4 adults (queen bed and a pull out sofa) - if i knew the sofa was right at the ground i would have booked a separate room. I had to ask staff 3 times for the extra 2 pillows as the sofa bed had nothing. When you enter the room you walk into the kitchenette. Small bar fridge was handy. Laundry was good but coin operated and was down a set of stairs. Breakfast was nice.

This hotel is not for everyone. The hotel occuplies part of a huge former industrial building in a neighborhood with not much else. It is far from the center of town, but not more than about a 15-minute ride on the excellent nearby tram. A little hard to find without a map app. Nothing to walk to, except a couple of small bar-type cafes with interesting features (one had a climbing wall; the other actual water surfing). The hotel bustles with young people and a very good front desk staff. Kind of fun, once we got used to the uniqueness of the experience.

The room was adequate, but very small and not particularly well lit. There was the advertised kitchenette (a small fridge and two-burner stove), but not really suitable for real cooking and no nearby market. The bathroom was small, but fine, with nice shower pressure. No room cleaning or towel changes, so not particularly suited for a long stay.

Altogether, we're happy we decided to continue with our 3-day reservation to stay there, but would probably not choose the experience, if we come to Bordeaux again.

It is an old warehouse transformed recently in an apart hotel.
Rooms are pretty unusual do to the fact that you have to cross the kitchen to get to the room. I stayed in a studio, which has a small bedroom. The bathroom was functional, clean and acceptable. Not enough storage space for your clothes for a longer stay.
The breakfast room was improper to fit a 46 people group, placed on the ground floor right at the reception lobby and entrance to the hotel. Hotel room access was like a maze.
Breakfast was poor, service was really bad, only one person at a full house hotel.
Hotel is faraway from city center and the surroundings are odd. There is a bus station close by.

Shabby - discoloured flooring, stained bedlinen and hairs found in one bed. Bathroom light stopped working. Double beds given even though the reservation specified twins. Stayed here 9 years ago and it has gone very downhill since then.
On the plus side, very good location for getting into the centre if you have a car, and if you need to get to the airport. (also petrol station open on Sundays on the same road)

Recommended and would stay here again if ever I wanted to go to Bordeux again. This was a comfortable apartment out of town but not too far from the motorway. We did have trouble finding it as it is tucked away down a road that looks like it leads to industrial units. And that is probably what the building was in days gone past. However, the accommodation worked OK for us. Very clean room and very friendly English speaking staff. Good shower pressure. Excellent free Wifi. A little small (particularly the kitchen area) but we were able to cook and eat all our meals in the hotel and that saved us a fortune judging by the prices we saw at the restaurants. Our room was next to a metal staircase/walkway where a number of smokers congregated at night. That was annoying as we had to shut our windows to keep the smoke stink out. Also shutting the windows stopped the noise from other guests. The tram stop is under five minutes walk from the property and the river is about 20 minutes walk along a straight road so you can't get lost. The tram is €1.60 for an hour (and it's only six stops into town) so you could go anywhere on any tram as long as it's within the hour until you have to pay again. We rented bikes from the bike station near the tram stop that we thought were €1.60 for 24 hours but that is only to get the access pass for 24hours. The bikes cost the €1.60 plus €2 per hour. It's not that clear on the instructions when you rent! Bordeaux is very cycle friendly!!

Room tip: Try to get a room away from the metal staircases!

Stayed here on a 3 day visit to Bordeaux. The hotel is a little out of the old town, but is pretty easy to get around with a tram stop not far away. The room was comfortable and clean, with a kitchenette which is handy.
