Really good authentic pizza, place is small so probably need to book, we arrived early but within 30 minutes they were turning people away. Lovely owners and staff and dog friendly. People have commented that the wine is expensive I don't agree, the wine here is Italian, but considering that France produces the stuff the price of wine in France compared to say Spain is ridiculous.

It's not easy to find authentic Italian food in this part of France, or neighboring Spain, but this is the real deal! The specials change daily, and every time I've gone I've tried something new. I've yet to be disappointed. It's not always easy to get a table, so if possible, book in advance.

A bit away from the main restaurant areas but well worth finding. Superb food in a small family restaurant. We arrived about 7.30 and got the last table for two on a Wednesday so probably a good idea to book if you can

Tucked away in Petit Bayonne this Italian ristorante is very small and you could easily miss it. With so few tables it was crowded (on a Friday evening) so book or get there' early. Not a greatly varied menu - too many pizzas for my taste - but OK as long as you have a very flexible taste. Wines expensive.

We were looking for an alternative to French food on our trip.
We had read the reviews on Trip Advisor and headed over to the restaurant in the afternoon to check it out. The restaurant was closed, but the owner's wife was across the street and came over to explain all the menu selections in English. The chef is from Sardinia and does not speak English. We returned for dinner and were able to order everything we needed with the waitress who did not speak English. She helped us select a nice wine after several tastings. She was very attentive and we truly enjoyed the meal.
They even poured us a glass of lemoncello after desert.
I highly recommend dining here.
