Stayed here as a large group of 10 when we went to the Rum Festival in Manchester Cathedral. We all paid £35 per room which is well cheaper than traveling home even sharing a taxi! The rooms are basic and clean, we ordered food late at night, suggest you consider what you order because it's not a restaurant, one of our friends ordered a burger, she sent it back the bread was hard and the burger was like rubber, the second one wasn't much better. The rest of us shared several pizzas and these were good! We didn't see much of the staff even to the point of a broken glass being left for more than an hour. We would stay in a Travelodge again it's a bed for the night at a very cheap price, tip for future stays is bring your own hair dryer as the rooms don't have them.

Room Tip: You get what you pay for and bring a hair dryer

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are really pleased to learn that you found your room to be of good value and clean although we are sorry to learn of the disappointment caused by the food in our Bar Cafe. Feedback such as this is invaluable as it allows us to improve the service we offer so we would like to thank you again and we do hope to welcome you back in the future.

Originally booked Travelodge to see Peter Kay but as he cancelled his tour we decided to visit Manchester anyway. From the moment we entered the immaculately clean hotel, we were welcomed by very friendly staff from reception to the restaurant. Our room was exceptionally good value for money - absolutely spotless with lovely crisp, white linen on the bed and top marks for the cleaniliness of the bathroom. Our room looked on to the carpark and road but even with our window open over night, we were not disturbed by any traffic. Dinner and breakfast were lovely - freshly cooked and very tasty.
Our only grumble was having to pay for the carpark adjacent to the hotel. £10 for 24hr stay. We were thankful our stay was only for one night! I understand from friends that other hotels in the area, offer a slight refund to customers as a gesture of goodwill but not Travelodge!

Reception staff were helpful, young male who also took bar order and meal. the food was o.k. filled the hole but this is not restaurant. Clean eating area. The room was clean, tidy comfortable. Complaints, well the curtains in this hotel were not wide enough, they do cover the window (just) and the light comes in on the sides and under (not long enough) so we were woken up with the sun rising. Ask for a room on the west side of the hotel if staying. Was tired before even driving back to London.

Room Tip: Rooms on the west side of the building, but the light will still come in but not so bright.

Since i was going to see a show at the Arena, i wanted a hotel close and within easy walking distance, this hotel fitted the requirements perfectly.

I would not say it's in the best area, but since i was only going to be sleeping there, i was happy with that, the room was clean and the bed soft.

For the price i cannot argue and would probably book there again if i went to the Arena

Room Tip: pick a room on the business floor, there quieter

Pros:
- Clean, tidy, good size room
- Very good sound insulation, barely any traffic noise
- Central, convenient location
Cons:
- The shower had barely any water pressure (6th floor room), it was almost impossible to have a shower
- The parking is an extra £10 per day...

Room Tip: Good view from 6th floor

Your feedback is greatly appreciated

We're sorry to learn of the issues you experienced with the shower, and that you found the parking to be too expensive. We are so pleased though, to hear that you liked the location as well as the clean room.

We look forward to welcoming you back soon.
